Run rabbit, DON'T!!

Yayyy! It's gonna be a long weekend! Sort of. At least, no work for me tommorrow. Good thing I'm still on probation, mun inda I have to worry about the on-call. Alhamdulillah, syukur nikmat. Today was kinda hectic but not so hectic. Memandangkan RIPAS tutup ari ani, ramai tia urang ke JPMC kan. That's just the nature. I reckon lah. So, the lab kept on getting samples almost non-stop. And oh, I got my excitment-hormone shoot around 'cos one of us were told to go to take a flight to Singapore this evening to send in cord stem cells of a newborn baby. I was thinking "AII SINGAPORE!! HOW DIS?" I almost said "yes" but thank goodness inda ga-ta-lam. I was thinking of the responsibilities of taking the specimen safely to the hospital there and then dalam flight lagi. You know, shit like that. Gila juaaa tuuu.. Banar pulang the tikit kana balikan, transportation kana bayarkan, hotel pun kana bayarkan and even makanan pun! Abeden, it's gonna be a short-work-trip that can lead to exhaustion udah sampai Brunei. So yeahh.. at least ada cheap thrill tadi!! Huhuhu ;p

Oh, this morning before I went to work, most of the adult rabbits went for a morning walk! In short, keluar durang as in lari dari cage inda tau napa. Hmph. So the maid did some extra exercising tadi trying to catch all the rabbits. Baik jua semua kedapatan. Hmph. Bulih lagi durang kan lari. Inda durang tepikir kah? Siapa kan membari makan? Tampat betaduh dari panas and ribut petir lagi ;p Huhu. But banar jua tu, I don't want them to be stray-rabbits. Is there such thing as stray-rabbits? Inda kan. Sounds so weird kan. So yeah, behapa tah kamu went on a morning hop?! Mum decided to chain to the cage. Hehe. Kesiann but it's for their own safety.

I'm on unpaid leave today. No-work-no-money policy ani tah yang membari malas ni. Sigh. But I have to keep in mind that it's gonna be worth it. I keep telling myself (supaya nyaman kan ati ;p) "Kan di apa jua duit banyak-banyak". Huhuhu. Most of you are now sasak by those words kan?!! Like I said, untuk nyaman kan ati SAHAJA!!! On a better view, it's better that I'm on leave for the whole day. That means, rest and relax for me. Baru 3 hari keraja. Hmph. Let's just hope that I'll get better next week since it's gonna be busy. There's gonna be 2 surgeries. Heart surgeries that is. Ertinya ada Dr. Burke and his intern, Christina! Hahaha. Too much GA bah. Somehow working in the lab feels like an intern. Hehe. Mawuu juaa. Sebabnya kan I have to tag along with the others and ask them questions and they ask me questions most of the time to test my knowledge. Iatah membari ngalih tu. So far, I haven't mastered the immunology, biochemistry and serology part. Why? Sebabnya payah brabis and complicated brabis. And these tests are the most wanted ones. Banyak tia karang keraja. Huhu ;p

Oh, the reason being that I'm on leave today is pasal the written test that I had to sit earlier. It was kinda alright. Shadi was there. As a matter of fact, he was the first person to came in. Semangat ahh!! ;p Shadi, cana rasa air-cond? Hahaha. I got you there huh?!! Confirm tah buntu tu, chengggg~ HAHAHA. Anyway, back to the test. Damnnn.. ada tia jua soalan dalam bahasa melayu atu! Paning wahhh ulih nya. Tunggang tebalik pun. Sadang-sadang ih. Plus the post is pretty tough 'cos there's only one who is chosen! On top of that, one of the applicants andangnya udah keraja sana, mentest untuk promoting saja. How fair is that? Ahh well.. Mana tau rezeki nya. Shadi almost backed down when I told him this. Inda apa tu Shadi, netau kau kana pilih!! Ia kana pilih by looking at menganggur-duration kaliahhhh!! Huhuhu. Sabarrr sajaaa kayyy.. Ngalih saja kau bawa calculator tadi. Mana ada calculation tu, Shadi ehh ;p There were lots of familiar faces pun including Maran, Papz, Fet and Addi. Maran looked 'bersungguh-sungguh' with his paper and Papz doesn't even know what 'berfoya-foya' is. Hehe ;p I guess they should banned malay writen tests for graduates! Hahaha!

As for the rest of the day, I don't know how to spend it with. Kan liat DVD jua, kan baca buku jua, kan jalan jua.. or should I just hang around being lazy? I think the best option is the last one! What you reckon? I reckon so! Thank you.

Sighhh. I'm soo tired, I could even sleep while standing. Work was great and I'm thankful that finally my brain is much in use. Inda lagi buntu. But lots of things for me to absorb yesterday, thus I was mentally tired. Today I got to do lots of experiments so I'm phsically and (a bit) mentally tired. Pokoknya ngalih. I know, I know.. Keraja mana jua sanang and keraja mana jua inda bari ngalih.. I was practically standing for 8 hrs. But things get really bored when there's nothing to do. Kan keluar inda jua dapat, nada jua anak kan di ambil kan ;p

Ok, basically my work is dealing with blood and blood ONLY, k. Hehe. I'm just emphasising 'cos I've been getting..

- "Jadinya kau check aying kamih and poopoo tah tu, Marha?"
- "Kalau ku antar samples ku saja arah mu bulih kah?"
- "Aii, baik inda kau gali tu??!!"

HMPHH!! Plissssssss. Nya urang Brunei.. "BUUULIIIEEEEHHHHH!!!!"

Apart from that, I'm happy to be back in the lab. I really do. It seems like I'm back in uni except that I'm being paid. Huhu. I'm back in facing books, but not too much pulang. Something that I realised, I do miss studying. Sighhh. If only.. If only..

Anyhow.. I'm off to bed soon *BIG YAWN* I can't believe it's still 9.34pm. Sigh.

Strawberries!

Hi people! I guess it's about time for me to be back blogging pasal nya sihat udah. Alhamdulillah. I woke up today with less mucus in my nasal area, so I said to myself "I need to blog. I have to blog!" Huhu ;p

Lots of things happened last week.. I guess I was productive. I guess lah. At least I didn't really hang around being lazy at home. I went on a road trip to KK with the family and it was fun inspite of the flu and fever that I had. Gosh, those viruses just couldn't stop multipying! What's your problem, virus?!!! I know I haven't been really sick but it wasn't necessary of you to attack me like that. Plus, I was on a holiday!! But I guess every cloud has a silver lining. Kan kan kan? I'll get back to you with that.. *wink hard*

KK was great. Siuk Sel tampat mu tinggal, tampat tumpah darah mu ah. Got Starbucks! Got MNG! Got Saint Cinnamon! Got Secret Recipe! And yang siuk skali Got Gunung!!! We stayed at the gunung area for 2 nights and it wassss fun fun fun! It was cold and the view was breathtaking! Not to mention the fresh veggies and strawberries!! Talking about stawberries, why do they make strawberry ice cream so artificial?? Strawberry ani masam masam jua rasanya abeden the ice cream manis! And watermelon pun.. it's just sooo artificial when it comes to the sweets or the ice cream. Iatah strawberry ice cream or strawberry shakes are my least favourite. Sorry saja keh to those of you who's totally in love with strawberry ice cream.. I just can't feel the 'umph' of it. But I do love strawberries!! Yang tulin pulang ganya yang artificial, terima kasih saja. Kalau DVD artificial beguna pulang tu ;p

Anyway, as I was saying the place where we stayed was coldinggg. With Brisbane being my winter-background kebalasan jua but siapa yang suka winter or yang tinggal di UK before might not feel the coldness.. We even had to light up the fire place to warm up the house.

Siuk ahh.. ada fire place! Membari sakai jua tu. Thank goodness I didn't expose myself in lighting up the fireplace. Nya Jeeah, very addictive. Hehehe..

The morning walk was great pun. Sajuk nya pun nyaman. Not as cold but macam air-cond saja. And the views.. *sighh* lawa brabisssss!!

OK, that was how I spent my 5 days in KK. A day after I got back, I had an interview at JPMC. Damam pun. That time I didn't feel nervous at all. I think being sick helped alot. Hehe. At least inda nervous banar. And Alhamdulillah, I got the job (this is the silver lining that I was talking about) and will be starting tommorrow! How dis? I'm nervous but at the same time I'm excited. Can't wait to get back my ass in the lab. Makin buntu udah utak ani and MAKIN LEMBAP! I'm sure none of you would like that kan. Self-warning: Don't be too excited!

And I had an interview yesterday at RIPAS. I guess the post is tough. Out of 16 applicants, only 5 will be taken *gulp* Though it was the first interview and it was informal but still.. I think I did ok but we'll see how it goes TAPINYA KAN.. cana ni esuk ahhh??!!!

I reckon I shouldn't be surprised. Culture urang kitani: Lalai~ Huhu ;p And oh, one of the interviewe or interviewer (?) was manis. Teehee. I keep on bumping into manis people lately.. Dalam screen TV, dalam magazine, dalam buku, di Mall arah the big screen di cinema, dalam google, dalam wiki.. and now dalam Bilik Temujanji!!!! Apa ertinya tu nah? Anypants, I'm all relieved now. Back in my comfortable clothes on my comfortable bed, blogging on my comfortable laptop. Apakan? Pokoknya: I'm so relieved. Next: Ujian bertulis next 2 weeks!

Hahahaaaa!!! My Mum didn't really like the idea of my Brother spending his money on a bike. Iatah ya abit marah and kajut and and and.. pokoknya my Brother was in BIG BIG trouble. Hehe..

Today, 21st Safar 1428; it's been a year since we lost our beloved NiniLaki. He was a son, a brother, a father, a grandad and even a great grandad! He had lived his life and he lived well. I could still feel his presence though. Sighh. May he rest in peace. Amin Amin.

I went to MS's parents-teacher meeting earlier (it was Jeeah's parents-teacher meeting. Not mine. Bila jua skulah di MS) and it surely reminds me of the days back in STPRI as well as MD..

Hahaha! Apa ertinya tu nah? I remember Mr Jeya always said "Marrrhaaa, enuff orayyydayy" Translation: "Marha, enough already" as in enough chit-chatting as in sadang-sadang tah becerita atu. Hehehe.

Mrs Matthew, that Chemistry teacher who looked up to me with high expectations. Inda membari pressure kan ni. Ia ani lagi.. I'm sure those STPRI-ans know how she was like. Anyway her comment: "She's a very nice girl and very bright and she can do better than this. I expect that you'll get good marks in the next test ahh *looking at me*" Matiwahhh~~

Usually during Chemistry class, all of us were sooo scarred to talk, move and even breathe! Pemarah ni Mrs Matthew ah. We sat very close to each other and didn't dare to make eye contact with her. Takut kami kana makan!

Happy Birthday to my Beloved Mum!! *hugs and kisses and much love* It was just last year that I abused the phone in the lab to call up the people in the real world i.e. people outside the lab. Huhu. And it's been a year that I waited for that moment to call up my Mum to greet her with 'Me' fonecard in front of me. Sighhh~ But now, what more can I ask for. Turun bawah saja and greet her. Oh, did you manage to catch the World Premiere of 300? It's ok kalau alum. Bukannya sehari atu saja kan. But it feels good to catch it during the World Premiere 'cos as a human, it feels good to be ahead of almost everyone. Huhu. That's just my ego talking. Anypants, I'm in love with the movie. Violent? Umm.. not to me. War mana jua inda violent. At least it's not that kind of violent that you get from watching Texas Chainsaw. Yup, it's still in my system. Brijap cerita atu. As for 300, there were lots of swords and spears flying, lots of blood splashing and of course that 'voice-raising' by King Leonidas!! WOWW!! Membari semangat pulang! Seriously, at that point I wanted to be trained like a Spartan. I love the fight scenes brabisss. Be stratigik bah! And and and yang paling bonus.. Imagine this, girls: big guys with six packs, half naked with swords, spears and shields, very brave, very strong!! Big-sighhh~

What I'm trying to say is.. I'm nervous. Anxious excited to be more precise. I've been waiting for 'the movie'. It's about time, mannn.. A movie that's Lord of the Rings-ish plus Troy-ish. Combine together = 300!!! Ok, I cannot be too excited.. *calming down* But I just can't help it. Canaaaa niiiiii????????

On a complete different note, Alhamdulillah I finally got a job respond from Kementerian Kesihatan and I'm gonna have an interview next Tuesday. Apa tah di tanyanya tu? Is it gonna be in English or Bahasa Melayu or Bahasa Brunei?? Kalau Bahasa Brunei, siukk tu ehhh!! I'm nervous 'cos this is going to be the first interview I'm gonna have after 4 years. I really don't know what to expect. Hmph. But I'm very grateful, syukur Alhamdulillah, that I FINALLY got a respond. Pikir inda lakuuuu. Kan menyamal udah ni. Kan sambung belajar udah. Huhuhuu. Menipu tiaaa~

Anyhow, I went to Pejabat Buruh di Immigresen tadi with my Dad, oh my Lord, there were shitloads of people. Seriouss!! Macam-macam jenis ada. Each level panuh!! I think it's the busiest building in Brunei!! I think lah. I'm not sure about other buildings but as far as I know building atu tah yang paling ramai urang beurusan! My Dad purposely showed me around, meliat urang ramai ahh. There's this level where people wore baju melayu and baju kurung. I thought ada urang Kawin!! Hehe. Mana tau ada wedding hall jua sana atu. I'm not sure though why there were people wearing baju tradisi. I mean complete baju tradisi. Dad told me tampat urang nikah. But I could sense that he was just pulling my leg.

I'm so tired today. Been almost everywhere.. Ke Beliat ganya inda. Hehe. Went to Kementerian Kesihatan to sent in my SPA1 form. Guess what the workers were doing at 10.30am at their office? Behapa nahh.. Makan durang!! Beramai lagi tu. Didn't they had brekkie?? Damnn ehh. Masa upis hour lagi tuuu.. If only I could take a snap shot on them and antar ke YPI!! Hehe.

Other than that, me and Mum went to Lambak to get the paint since I promised my Brother that I'll help him paint his new living room. Well, not new but old tapinya ia baru pindah rumah bah. Iatah 'new' atu. So I spent my whole afternoon covered in lime-gween small pokka-dots (paint) and sweats!! Eww-ness kah? Jangan kamu te-eww-eww.. Sihat kali ahh!!! At least I shed off some calories (I hope). Jangan jeles! I sooo need that since I've been a sloth lately. Since Abang's house is dalam-dalam, pisuk-pisuk, good thing I had Jeeah to accompany me. Inda jua brijap banar. And tommorrow I've got Mum to dangani me. This was my negotiation with her:

Me: Bo, esuk pagi danganikan ke Gadong ah
Mum: Behapa?
Me: Kan mencat ahh
Mum: Pukul brapa?
Me: Sebangun-bangun mata
Mum: Behapa tah Babu tu? Lantung-lantung?

Baik jua yang the first one atu, befotocopy [this maybe a andy top ;)]. Tau salin saja. But it's still a pain the ass. Sangal tangan. Lama udah inda migang pen pun. Masa ani main mengatik-ngatik keyboard kaliahh..
